Ways You Can Support Our Work

 

CMAF Now a GlobalGiving Partner!

Children’s Medical Aid Foundation has earned a place on the GlobalGiving website, after participating successfully in the GlobalGiving Challenge to raise at least $5,000 with at least 5o individual donors. When you give to CMAF through GlobalGiving, you can be confident abut how your donor dollars are being spent, and regular reports are submitted about our progress. Giving to CMAF through GlobalGiving also helps to increase our project ranking and visibility to potential donors all over the world.

To give securely through GlobalGiving, please go to the CMAF Project Page on the GlobalGiving website.

1.Under “donate,” choose whether to make a one-time or recurring gift, and select a giving amount. Then click “donate.”

2.At the bottom, you have several payment options, including “Pay with a check” if you prefer not to pay online.

3.You can make your donation in honor or in memory of someone special, or purchase a gift card for someone.

Combined Federal Campaign

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Donors: If you are a federal employee, postal worker or member of the U.S. Military, please remember to give to us through your annual CFC. Our CFC Number is 46131.

 

Automatic Monthly Debit

Automatic monthly debits from your checking account are an affordable, easy way to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. In one year, your gift of just $20/month can:

  • Provide a child with corrective surgery and follow-up care
  • Help sponsor mobile medical clinics in impoverished rural areas
  • Make it possible to purchase urgently needed medical supplies

You can help raise money for CMAF just by surfing the web or purchasing products online at no extra cost to you! CMAF is registered with the following online philanthropic search/shopping sites. Just type in your search information and select Children’s Medical Aid Foundation as your charity. Donations paid by participating online merchants are usually 1-5% of the purchase price. Please share your favorite search site with your friends, family, and others who might be interested. Every dollar raised can make a difference in the lives of children in Nepal!

In-Kind Gifts

CMAF gratefully accepts donated medical equipment and supplies. We arrange for pick up of donated materials and coordinate our volunteers who travel to Nepal to serve as couriers. Please contact us for a current list of needed items.

We are also pleased to accept in-kind volunteer services, from simple clerical tasks to hosting fund-raising activities. CMAF volunteers are members of our Kathmandu Club, a diverse group that includes local Nepalese families and other individuals who share our passion for Nepalese culture.
